a mixed experience
small room poor soundproofing
My room was quite small (i suspect it used to be a broom closet). noise isolation was poor too. I could clearly hear other guests. it sounded like the people next door were practically in my room. the lack of soundproofing made it difficult to relax.

Central Location and Helpful Staff
central location helpful staff room amenities renovated shower
The hotel is very close to main attractions (I could easily walk to the Duomo). The staff offered me a welcome drink upon my arrival. My room had a kettle and a fridge. The shower room looked newly renovated, which I appreciated.
The hotel's signage was not very visible from the street (the alley made it a bit difficult to spot initially).
Service
9/10
The staff helped with my bags and provided city orientation, suggesting places to visit (they were genuinely interested in my plans!). Reception operates from 08:00 to 20:00, but after-hours check-in can be arranged.
Dining
8/10
Many restaurants are located near the hotel. The hotel provides complimentary coffee, tea, and water in the room. I found several dining options within a short walk (some really nice trattorias).
Facilities
9/10
The hotel is on the first floor, and rooms are on the second and third floors (keep this in mind if you have heavy luggage). Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathrooms are contemporary and clean.
